Gender and Minorities

Climate change affects women and men differently, and therefore its response must incorporate a gender perspective to ensure both the effectiveness and fairness of interventions. Climate and financial policies that ignore gender gaps risk perpetuating existing inequalities and overlooking essential capacities for transformation.

International climate funds and global regulatory frameworks require the integration of a gender approach at all stages: from project design to implementation and monitoring. This demands institutionalizing gender frameworks, generating disaggregated data, and fostering enabling environments that ensure equitable participation.

At ROA Partners, we support our clients in designing and implementing gender-responsive mechanisms. We integrate equality criteria into accreditation processes, project design, and governance frameworks to ensure compliance with international standards and to deliver truly transformative results.
